About us

This political organization was formed in February 2023 by Mr Sifiso Henry Mthethwa with other leaders mostly from various political organizations, FBOs, NGOs, CBOs, Workers Unions and Community leaders after they were disappointed by democratic government failing to provide service delivery to people, after  realizing poor leadership with full of corruption, maladministration, nepotism and criminality crippled our democracy. Then Sifiso Mthethwa realized that our people are still suffering after gaining political freedom and they are still on streets begging without homes, decent jobs and business opportunities. The economy is still owned by few minority group but then the founders felt that economy, economic system, structures, institutions, resources, productions, markets and profits must be owned by the majority of South Africans. The founders realised that African people were not only  deprived their political freedom but also economic freedom. Then to gain only political freedom is futile without economic freedom. That was reasons why African Economic Freedom was formed. African Economic Freedom abbreviated as AEF has established in nine (9) provinces and all regions. It represents all South Africans irrespectively of race, gender, color, religion, culture and historical backgrounds. It's vision is to struggle and gain  for economic freedom at our lifetimes. All policies of the AEF propagate economic freedom and ensuring that our people become owners of economy, economic system, structures, institutions, resources, productions, markets, profits and beneficiation. We intend to strengthen our economy.

AEF wishes to work on psychological economic freedom, emotional economic freedom, cultural economic freedom, spiritual economic freedom, literary economic freedom, historical and artistic economic freedom, medical economic freedom and mineral resources and processing to empower our people as owners of economy.
